LoveSeen Eyelash packaging
LoveSeen is a new beauty venture brand led by Jenna Lyons, former J.Crew president and creative director. The brand provides a direct-to-consumer line of lashes that is not only eco-friendly but also inclusive. Unlike any brand before them, each pair of LoveSeen lashes was designed with a wider variety of skin tones, eye shapes, genders, ages, and hair colors in mind.
The lash brand is dedicated to making their product as plastic-free as possible. Their chic, navy packaging is 98% plastic free and earth-friendly — with lash trays made from unbleached Bagasse (sugar cane pulp), outer-packaging made of post-consumer recycled cardboard and uncoated paper, soy-based ink, and recyclable shipping and packing materials. The brand also chose to forego glossy and metallic inks to ensure the lash pack can be recycled after use.
I had the opportunity to design the LoveSeen's packaging from scratch and help with product development along the way.
