While working on the product, I noticed that most pet stairs are bulky foam blocks or cardboard forms that ship fully assembled, resulting in oversized packaging and higher shipping costs. I wanted to rethink the structure to make it more efficient.
By using a wire frame, the stairs can be disassembled and shipped flat, reducing packaging size and transportation impact. The frame assembles with hex screws and maintains a strong, stable structure once built. The result is a lighter, more modern alternative to traditional pet steps that fits more naturally into contemporary homes.
