Our Place Hot Wok Set
For Our Place’s Traditionware collection for Lunar New Year, I designed the Hot Wok in collaboration with Fly By Jing.
The wok is made from carbon steel, a material valued for its fast heat response and suitability for high-heat cooking, supporting techniques such as stir-frying and developing wok hei. It retains the signature nesting spatula and includes a bamboo steamer insert, combining core cooking functions in a single set.
I illustrated the dragon for the laser-etched spatula, adding a seasonal detail for the Year of the Dragon.
